What kinds of issues do you work with?
I specialize in helping adults improve their relationships with themselves and others – whether that means setting healthier boundaries, navigating conflict, managing anxiety, or finding clarity during major life changes.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’d like to work on, and how I can best support you. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and decide if I’m the right fit for you.
How long is a typical session?
Sessions typically last 50–60 minutes, providing us with sufficient time to explore your challenges, practice strategies, and work toward your goals in a supportive environment.
What can I expect from therapy?
You can expect a collaborative, compassionate approach focused on your goals.
I help you develop practical tools for communication, conflict resolution, and boundary-setting, while fostering clarity, confidence, and stronger relationships.
Do you give homework between sessions?
Sometimes! If it feels helpful, I may suggest exercises, journal prompts, or new skills to practice between sessions. These can help you integrate what we talk about into your daily life.
How long will I need to be in therapy?
Every person’s needs are different. Some clients see improvement in just a few sessions, while others choose to continue for several months or longer. We’ll work at your pace and check in regularly about your progress and goals.
What’s one thing you always keep in your office?
A cozy blanket – sometimes a little extra comfort- makes opening up easier.
What’s one small thing that always makes your day better?
When a client says, “I feel lighter than when I walked in.”
Coffee or tea?
Coffee in the morning; herbal tea in the evening.
